    Whilst this is a great idea, it's not recommended due to blood sugars still dropping or doing something you can't put a finger on. Sticking with 15Grams of carbs, wait 15 minutes, Test. Rince and repeat.

    There is a meter that simultaneously tests for ketones. But for us on sick days or having a bad day, ketones would be a good idea.

    It really is faster to type in your numbers than take a picture, scan and OCR it.

    As a temporary idea, if the user is a pump user then why not have a box for remaining IOB from pump then subtract that from any calculations.
