  1. add insulin dose calculation based on fat

    Hi Gordon,

Firstly, thanks for creating such a great app. It's exactly what I was looking for and love how easy it is to use despite there being lot's of features, which can make some apps a painful user experience. Even some of the other apps that are less complex seem to make it harder to use.

Anyway, I'd love to see the ability to calculate bolus based on fat intake. Mainstream diabetes centres around carbohydrates as raising blood sugar and indeed carbohydrates do have a signficant impact. However fat also raises blood sugar, much more slowly and for a…

  3. Smooth Curve Fitting Option

A smooth fitting curve will better reflect the actual BG. By connecting dots only we under represent the extremes because the chances of testing at the highest or lowest point are slim. The smooth curve would go a little higher and make a smooth curve back down to meet the next slope...it would be a better estimate of how high (or low) BG went.

  4. Projected Blood Glucose - Lows, Highs, In Range, Out of Insulin

Use the last two points to predict the time when a low will occur and how much insulin is left. For example, it could report "based on last two bg your BG will go lower than 70 at 7pm and you still have 2 hours of insulin on board! or it could report " your insulin will run out at 6:50pm when BG is expected to be 79" or "...expected to be in range at 6:30 pm", etc.. It could also alarm when the BG is predicted to be low. Or high or on target.

    Now, I do this mentally:…

  6. Add bolus and carbohydrates marks on Today graphic

It would be nice to see bolus and carbohydrates marks (one color for bolus, one other for carbohydrates) on the Today graphic.

  7. select multiply foods

It would be good if u could select multiply foods at once to add to an entry instead of one at a time. U can tick multyply but it won't allow you to add them. Just share with other app icon appears.

  8. change carb ratio settings

When you change carb ratio's, need it to leave previous entries unaltered, same if you enter carb ratio manually on entry page, don't have the default override it.

  9. Add the ability to show the Today screen graph for any date

It would be invaluable to be able to see a day's (or two or three day's) graph for each entry, like on the Today screen, for any user defined date or date range. It would make it much easier to spot trends. The Statistics screen only shows a graph of the day's average. Of course any statistics on the Today screen would change according to the selected date.

  15. the ability to disable either the shots or meds

A way to completely turn off the insulin or the meds. It does make things a bit confusing when reading the stats sections, or overview. In this also. Add the medication (oral) part. I am type 2, and on Metforman 1000mg every 12 hours. Somehow be able to add that.

  16. Entries list page to show total bolus column

Combine bg + carbs bolus into 1 "total bolus" column on the entries list page.
These figures should still be separate on the Entry detail page.
This would allow room for for another column like background/basal units.

  17. Calculate amount of insulin on board and ask if you want to adjust correction bolus

I like the warning, but it would be helpful if it calculated how much insulin is remaining and even how big a drop in bg should be expected. Warn upon save and offer to adjust the correction units appropriately.

  19. option to track more items

Just tried your app the last couple of days. I'm T2 and use Novolog with meals and Levemir once a day. I use another app that can track the 2 types of insulin separately as well as weight, bp, and a1c. But I like your interface, and the other app doesn't calculate dosage. I'd switch to yours and even pay if it could also track my other meds.

  20. Add menstrual cycle track to control for its effect on bg

I need to use different insulin bolus ratios depending on the phase of my cycle. It has a greater effect on my blood sugar than anything other than an extremely carb-heavy meal. This effect--high bg in luteal phase (at the end)--is really common.
