Be able to duplicate an entry into a new entry
In lieu of my template idea, what would suffice is to be able to copy an existing entry into a new entry. Maybe by pressing and holding on an existing entry, there's an option that shows for duplicating it. The new entry would carry over all the fields and would have the current date/time.

the ability to disable either the shots or meds
A way to completely turn off the insulin or the meds. It does make things a bit confusing when reading the stats sections, or overview. In this also. Add the medication (oral) part. I am type 2, and on Metforman 1000mg every 12 hours. Somehow be able to add that.

change carb ratio settings
When you change carb ratio's, need it to leave previous entries unaltered, same if you enter carb ratio manually on entry page, don't have the default override it.

add insulin dose calculation based on fat
Hi Gordon,
Firstly, thanks for creating such a great app. It's exactly what I was looking for and love how easy it is to use despite there being lot's of features, which can make some apps a painful user experience. Even some of the other apps that are less complex seem to make it harder to use.
Anyway, I'd love to see the ability to calculate bolus based on fat intake. Mainstream diabetes centres around carbohydrates as raising blood sugar and indeed carbohydrates do have a signficant impact. However fat also raises blood sugar, much more slowly and for a…

Drafts
I'd like to plan a meal that whilst it's cooking and bolus for it much later.
Group several items into a meal total and save total till later, maybe expand it to the point you can save groups. McDonald's meal is composed of 3 items.1 vote -
Would love to see average TDD and carbohydrates in Statistics
I can get there by copying the total stats viewing 1 day at a time since you list the total boluses and carb grams. But I find the totals for a week or month less useful than an average would be. Graphing TDD for correction and bolus helps me correct my Lantus dose (I compensate for hormonal effects by varying my dose).

Make date navigation support a range
I found the date bar at the bottom somewhat confusing.
If I chose a 1 week view, then change the "date" to yesterday, I get a 6 day view.
So I am assuming I changed the end date, but the range was not clear. If the calendar displayed the range it would be clearer.
Cheers.

Tracking Control Solution
Control solutions provide a means to test a glucometer for accuracy. There are three types: Low range, in range, high range.
Each lot of test strips will often produce different results, but need to be within the indicated range. A test strips from the same lot will often produce the same BG number when a control solution is used. By tracking control solution results from the same lots, you can detect any deviations to understand the lot's accuracy, and, in turn, blood test results. Most glucometers will exclude control solution results from it's averages. Keeping track of lot numbers and…1 vote -
Allow color-coding of different insulin types.
Would allow at-a-glance tracking of bolus vs baseline doses e.g. on the entries screen.

build in search function: search for food in entries. what did i inject and was it correct for that food?
Search for certain food and excercise. The tag system is nice but overwhelmed when you search for food.

Rounding of boluses
Carbs and BG boluses are rounded individually whereas the doctor told us to round them once they are added. This creates big differences.

Port application also to iOS
I know this would be a more major undertaking, but having multiple mobile OS support I think would add value to the usual majority that mix droid and iOS apps between their tablets, phones, and other devices.
How you would decide to do that is the $20M question.
Web UI access is of course one solution, and i don't recall if that exists yet or no with BG. An IOS native app is the other. In each of course the backend and end user connections would have to be HIPAA compliant - and that is no small task, but necessary.

Add protein, fat, and calories to csv and/or graph
First off thank you for making such an app with a data rich export.
Although carbs are generally the most important macro to track fat and protein, even some other micro nutrients, are important factors. It would be great to have additional nutrition information in entries even if it is only seen on the csv export

Meal Time Turn Off
The meal time feature is great but it only really works if the person has a set schedule. Could there be an option to turn it off and let the user mark the meal and or snack?

Add the current insulin dose from the most recent entry beside the running total on the home screen.
Instead of having to open the entry log at the bottom if the last entry dosage was visible beside the running total on the home page it would simplify trying to calculate current dosage. Not critical but simplify for a quick view of the last dosage in the entry.
