I prefer the old overview
I use this app to keep track of when, where and how much insulin I inject. It's very helpful for keeping track of that. However, the most recent update has made that more difficult. When entering data, I have to manually set the day to "today" or else I don't see anything from today. Can you fix this so the app syncs with your phone's date and time to always show you events from today?

The insulin on board doesn't include the insulin given in a regular entry. This needs to be fixed.
Fix the problem of the insulin add in a regular entry be added to IOB warnings!!!
1 voteThis is already working. Please make sure the entry has an insulin type set. The insulin type also needs to have a non-zero IOB duration. An easy way to make sure you don’t forget to set the insulin is by setting it as the default insulin type.

Food data bank
Make a food data bank so we can have a food log with our blood sugars. Have foods that we can press and have them Added. You can do a little rewards system when someone adds food. Turn logs into a game somehow so people can get into the habit of using the app :)

show inuslin type
You show the insulin type on "insulin" records, but not on BG records - it would be good to show on both. Also, might be good to distinguish between basal and bolus injections (normally 1 insulin type will be basal and the other will be bolus).

add carbs up in entry field
12 + 7 + 14 +14 ......... Peanut butter jelly sammich. When entering carbs, I just would like to enter the carbs in a series with plus signs as I view them from food labels..

add a 3 month range, please
My endocrenologist visits are 2-3 months apart. It would be great if I could use your app to show him all the data at once from between visits.

Provide premade food database
Provide a database of foods that have nutrition information already saved and provided as well as allowing users to add their own food. Something like what myfitnesspal or similar apps provide.

Need to be able to backup food database
Over several months of using the pro version, I have amassed a large food database. Amost anything I eat regularly, if I can get nutrition info for it, I enter it into the db. This makes it very easy to make new glucose entries based on the same types of foods and to calculate the insulin dosage.
I can find no way to backup or export/import this food database which worries me should something happen to my phone requiring me to start over. Adding all these items again would take a serious amount of time and effort.

decimal point for the carb calculator.
When using the carb calculator and adding a new entry, u can not add a decimal point for the amount of carbs, can only add decimal for the amount of servings. It would be handy if u caiyld add decimals for both.

There is no confirmation needed after clicking the hour, so why after clicking the minute?!

backup and restore BGMonitor settings
on the odd occasion I have had to do a phone factory reset. it would be great to have an option to backup all settings so they don't need to be reentered manually in this type of situation or when moving to a new phone

Refine algorithm for a1c estimates. A simple average is not adequate, as frequent testing when low or high will skew the average.
The a1c algorithm using just the simple average is not accurate, and can lead to treatment errors. I take my bg 8-12 times per day, but when I have a high or a low I will take my bg every 15-30 minutes for up to an hour in order to establish change in direction. These readings end up skewing the simple average, and skew the estimated a1c.

change the bg entry pad back to how it was. Now to add mmol its harder. The decimal point has been moved ti the symbol page.
The key pad for entering bg's has been changed and so adding mmol has gotten annoying because u have to go to the symbol page to get the decimal point. Made entring bg's that bit more harder.
