Calorie tracking
I would like to see an additional field for caloric intake. The app already tracks the carbs of food added, either from the onboard database or through individual added items.
It would be nice to have calories tracked the same way.3 votes -
Calorie count
Connect with the app Calorie Counter by Fatsecret or implement calorie tracking. Very important for diabetics.

Fix hours remaining message
I think this is a bug.
When you come back to the app the "(n hours remaining)" is still stuck at the time it was the last time the app was opened.
I have to close and reopen the app to see the hours remaining. This is useful to know to get an idea of what insulin is on board.

Om de stappen insuline eenheden in tienden te geven en niet in halven
Ik kan de app niet gebruiken als er een afronding is naar hele eenheden.

Support for sensor reading with NFC enabled phones (Freestyle Libre etc)
It would be nice to be able to read in sensor data and add data in a more elegant way than the Freestyle Libre reader since it has very limited options for other data than glucose values.
It would be very handy (pun intended) to integrate this with a smartwatch/android wear device. As a person who likes to spend time in the nature, mostly mountain biking, this would be a very useful combination for predicting when I need to stop for carbs.
Thanks for the great work so far!

Import from CSV with new data format
The CSV import feature doesn't match what's exported by the app. This means that when I import data (migrating from a competing service) I can't get the full benefits of the visualizations / tracking / etc. This feature request is to support importing data in the same CSV format as data is exported from BG Monitor (eg. include "Insulin", "Total bolus" fields)

Retain bolus values for each individual record
Current bolus values should be included with each record.
Currently, the bolus settings are reflected globally, rather than what it was at the time of record entry. It would be useful to have a historical record of what the bolus setting was at the time of the record entry.1 vote -

Automatically choose insulin for boluses for over 1 unit
Some people have 2 types of insulin, basal and bolus.
For this group, for corrections and meal boluses it is usually a given that fast acting insulin would be given. So to select the insulin of choice when boluses are needed.1 vote -
Add a calculator link to the carb input line
I often eat several different carbs fora meal and it would be awesome to have a link to the calculator popup so I can quickly add everything together. The other option would be to change the code to allow math functions I. E + - × ÷

Food and notes separated
Having what the meal consisted of is fantastic but storing it in the notes deters me a bit from taking additional notes. Could there be a meal field and a notes field?

Tracking Control Solution
Control solutions provide a means to test a glucometer for accuracy. There are three types: Low range, in range, high range.
Each lot of test strips will often produce different results, but need to be within the indicated range. A test strips from the same lot will often produce the same BG number when a control solution is used. By tracking control solution results from the same lots, you can detect any deviations to understand the lot's accuracy, and, in turn, blood test results. Most glucometers will exclude control solution results from it's averages. Keeping track of lot numbers and…1 vote
